Lambda offers a wide variety of cable ties designed for use within specific environments. There are several environmentally limiting factors to the durability of some cable tie materials such as UV light and chemical corrosion. Plastic cable ties are most suitable for use in most practical applications at a continuous temperature up to 150°F. The grade most often used for cable tie production, meets UL flammability ratings. Its working temperature range is from 40°F to 185°F.

Material Specification:

Natural Nylon:

KSS standard cable ties made from UL approved nylon 6/6.
Normal service temperature range: -40°C to 85°C. Flammability rating: UL 94V-2.

Black Nylon:

(Material and temperature as above) Except in black color.

Weather Resistant Nylon (ULTRA VIOLET):

Carbonate "A" was added for greater resistance to ultra violet light in outdoor application.

Heat Stabilized Nylon:

Service temp. 135°C
